The Phoenix Lion Dance Championships High Pole (Jongs) Competition and US Team Qualifier will be held May 23, 2026 – May 24, 2026, at the Phoenix Convention Center 100 N. 3rd St, Phoenix, AZ.

Teams competing at the USDLDF’s High Pole and Traditional Competitions will have a chance to represent the USA at events the USDLDF gets invited to! Our previous USDLDF member schools, Sing Yung Lion Dance Association, Lion DanceMe and Spring Rock Lion Dance Troupe represented the USA with flying colors in the past and this is a chance for your team to be able to do the same!

What does it take to qualify to compete as Team USA under the USDLDF at International Lion Dance Championships?
To receive the invitation to these events, the team must have an active School Membership with the USDLDF at the time of registration, the date of the qualifying event, as well as the date of the international competition in which said team is representing the USDLDF.
The highest-ranking USDLDF member team will get the first opportunity to accept the invitation. If they decline, the next highest-ranking team, with USDLDF membership, will get the opportunity to accept.
Keep in mind that, if the first-place place team is not a USDLDF member, they will not receive the invitation.
Registration deadline is fast approaching, so sign up and get ready for this amazing opportunity!
