Lion Dance Bench Blueprint Available to Download

We are excited to release the blueprint for the official USDLDF benches to the public! Anyone with knowledge of carpentry skills can use this blueprint to manufacture a bench so their team can practice with it.

For competing teams travelling to our 1st USDLDF Dragon & Lion Dance Championships they will not need to worry about bringing their own benches as ten (10) of these will be available at the competition for any team to use in their routines. Also if any team would like to bring their own benches they may do so as well.

Even if your team does not compete these beautiful and sturdy benches will be a great addition to any show or performance your team may have!

NOTE: No modifications or alterations can be made to the benches provided by the USDLDF at the competition, including the use of screws and/or nails to secure them to other benches or items. You may secure the USDLDF provided benches with zip ties and/or tie them together, however If you need to secure a bench(s) with the use of screws or nails make sure to bring your own set.

This bench blueprint was created by USDLDF Senior Adviser Master Bob Rosen from Wah Lum Kung Fu Athletic Association (New England Headquarters) with assistance from USDLDF Board Director Mark Vuong.
