The Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association (CCBA) of San Diego provides charitable, education, and benevolent activities to preserve and promote Chinese culture and traditions. The CCBA of San Diego was established prior to 1911, however, the parapet of our historic building is dated 1911 when the building was established. We officially incorporated as a non-profit in 1970. The San Diego Lucky Lion Dancers is a sponsored program of the CCBA with roots dating prior to the 1940’s and is San Diego’s oldest lion dance team. Our team is a non-competitive, volunteer-based team with members located throughout the greater San Diego region.
